Foot Switch for VM Deluxe Amp

    Aloha,
Just purchased my first tube amp, a second hand Fender VM Deluxe 40W. I would like to get a foot switch for it but cannot find a particular switch compatible with the VM. All I know is it"s a for button switch and connects to the amp with a midi connector. Does anyone know which foot switch works with the VM series amp?

    Thanks in advance,
    Regards
    Mark

I found a replacement footswitch for that amp at "ampfootswitch.com". It uses the 5 pin din plug to connect to the rear panel of the amp. It's not cheap however. The amp originally was supplied with the footswitch, so the person you bought the amp from may have sold it separately.

I sent you a link to the page I found in a private message.

The Vintage Modfied Deluxe Reverb is a hybrid design -- only the output stage uses tubes. The rest of the platform relies on micro-processors.

From the reviews I have read the preamp uses 12ax7's for the clean and drive channel, but the effects are all digital. I haven't actually laid my hands on one of these hybrid amps.
