Help IDing speaker in 1965 Showman 1x15" cab

I recently picked up a Blackface 1965 Showman with a matching 1x15 cab. I opened it up and have been unable to figure out what kind of speaker is in it since any sort of identifiers seem to have worn off. Any help would be appreciated. Sounds good so far!

it looks like a 15-inch Jensen Vibranto. They are normally furnished with a screw-on bell cover over the magnet assembly. An ID code should be stamped on the rim of the basket reading "220XXX". In original condition they're good for about 75 watts RMS.

I'm pretty sure that you can still buy the bell

I see something stamped on the cone. It's possible that it's been re-coned.

Edit: Looking at the 1965-1966 Fender catalog, it says: "the Showman 15" contains all of the features of the above Dual Showman except that it is equipped with one 15" J B Lansing speaker". I don't know enough to identify the speakers by appearance. It's even possible the original speaker has been replaced.

Wonkier still is the enclosure shown. The Showman 15 cab is a "dual baffle" design, with the single JBL mounted to a tone ring to make maximum use of the box's internal volume. What's depicted is definitely NOT a tone-ring enclosure. And the speaker is most assuredly not a JBL.

Thanks for the help guys. I’m 99% sure it isn’t original. Appearance checks out with the images of Jensen Vibranto speakers I’ve looked at.

Seems to sound big and relatively efficient from the limited time I was able to test the amp. The head needs some work. Looking forward to getting that done when I get home from tour.

Many dealers installed Jensens as replacements, even in my own little town. I believe that is a Vibranto LMI as phantoman said, (LMI meant lifetime musical instrument!)

This is an original unmolested Showman 15 cabinet......
