I had a '74 Duster! Light blue with a slant six. It died of body rot (a torsion bar ripped out of the chassis), but the engine was still going strong!

I was raised on Buicks, Pontiacs (Catalina, Tempest, LeMans, Skylark), and GMC trucks, so the Mopar was almost foreign to me.

I had a '74 Dodge Dart Custom 4-door with a 318 V-8. Came with a radiator for the slant 6, used to cook the thermometer thingy and run full cold. Especially fun in winter. Went through lower ball joints and tie-rods like socks and underwear. Front end would go out of alignment if a dog peed on the tires. Rainy weather was a nuisance, stall city. Body panels rotted away. You could start the car and pull the key out of the ignition and it would keep running. I finally got a new(er) car when the driver's door key hole fell out of the door. Engine was going strong, still put down rubber. I used to drag late '70 and early '80s muscle cars and embarrass them off the line, Vettes and Firebirds.

    Hello again,

I just want to confirm that the bias cap resistor is 27K. (Color code: red/violet/orange/silver)

    Thank you!

    27KΩ is correct.

Wow! I finally received my capacitor kit and 3 prong plug to do the work on this Princeton. I was beginning to lose hope.
