A Whole New Lineup of Fender Acoustics

Just received a Fender marketing blurb about their "New Paramount Series Acoustics." Additions include

    • PD-220E DREADNOUGHT
    • PO-220E ORCHESTRA
    • PS-220E PARLOR

All of them sport a $829.99 MSRP. See them
    here.

    There's also a PM-2 Parlor NE, listing for $629.99.

For a brief time Fender made American made acoustics at their Guild factory in New Hartford, CT. They were built side by side with Guilds, (and Ovations, for that matter), but used different materials and had their own spin. They were not cheap - but pretty cool (and really nice guitars). I saw them being made there on a couple tours... But... it was weird seeing an acoustic guitar with the classic Fender Headstock!

The parlor needs a slotted headstock imo

    Looks like a nice series.

I like the parlor with solid back, sides and top and the neck joint at the 15th fret

If you get a chance to try one, also try Fender's el cheaposki CD60s acoustic. One, I'd like to hear takes on the differences, and two, I want someone else to hear how good a $200 acoustic can sound or rather tell me to shut up about them.
