    Supersonic 22 head tube issue

Just acquired a used fender supersonic 22 head , everything appears ok so far but I think the tubes need replacing . There is a orangish glow on some of the tubes any thoughts ? I dont know the history of the unit but it looks in ok condition. Anyone have one of these and replaced the tubes looking for recommendations . Thanks in advance

It depends on what is glowing inside the tubes. The heaters or filaments glowing orange is normal. The plates on the power tubes glowing red is not normal.

    How does the amp sound?

A vacuum tube is akin to an incandescent light bulb -- it glows when energized.

If the amp sounds fine and there are no flames emanating from the chassis nor the acrid aroma of "magic smoke" escaping, it's likely that there's no issue......if it ain't broke, don't 'fix' it.
