Staggered or non staggered locking tuners

I have a 2015 MIM standard strat and I want to put Fender locking tuners on it. I noticed that there are two kinds available, staggered and non-staggered. My strat currently has the original non-staggered tuners on it.

Does anyone know which set I should purchase or will both types work? I would appreciate any assistance...

We’d have to check the reference on each set.

You could also email Fender’s customer service and ask them, they usually reply fast and kindly.

Welcome to the forum. How about a pic of that guitar?

Thanks Sergio. I sent an email to Fender a few days ago but no reply yet. Since they are so cheap at $49 from Amazon, I just ordered them a few minutes ago. If they work okay, if not I am not out much money.

Odd that they didn’t reply promptly… Anyway let us know if it worked.

Other than that, what kind of music do you like to play on that strat? What color is it? Pics would be nice!

If you're getting them from Amazon, you should be able to return them if they're not right. Unless Amazon has changed their policies.

Thanks OldStrummer. I received a response from Sweetwater Support earlier today and they stated that they should work just fine. I should have them from Amazon by Tuesday...

The tuners came in 2 days early. Installation was extremely easy. A second lieutenant could have done it (well maybe with some supervision)! String changes are much quicker. I am glad that I purchased them...

You seem too lucid and coherent to be a ROTC nazi or a ring-knocker......
