    NOTICE:

    I hereby declare it grammatically acceptable to refer to this forum as "the TFF", although technically this would mean the The Fender Forum. So it is said; so let it be written.

    If you call it "The TFF", you are being redundant. You will then be representing the word "The" twice. It should just be "TFF"..

    Like... Hey dumbass, did you see Mrs. Ajay's avatar on TFF?

    71818- Thanks for the vote of confidence in my dumbassity.

    DD - The hat is a fez, and I call myself fezz.

    You're a young feller, so you probably don't remember...

    Fezz Parka = Fess Parker. Davey Crockett. Daniel Boone.

    Fez = hat.
    Parka = heavy coat.

    another long trip down road.

    Of course it would be redundant, & repetitively so as well, too, also. That's why it requires an edict... a special dispensation, if you will.

    There is historical precedence for the use of an extra 'the' or 'a' or 'an' going back to the Foundering Fathers...it's right there in the Articles of the Confederacy of Dunces.

    It wasn't really needed or necessary, but I thought it would be a good idea to clarify the concept for some forum members so they wouldn't feel dumb or stupid by typing it & feeling grammatically incorrect & wrong.
