Found it !! Shiny ... so shiny :D

I figured I packed the Meguiar's some time before the move in 2019, and as fortune would have it, I habitually label my boxes with the packing date. I tracked down boxes from that year and found the Meguiar's.

I polished up the frets today, since it was a day long rain fest anyway. Somebody said on another forum "You're not done until you can see yourself."

Wow! That's what makes 'em play like buttah
I just use 0000 steel wool & call it good. I'll have to rethink that

Polish the frets? As in, "make them change to the Polish nationality?" Is this some kind of Polish joke?

I'm not exactly sure of the procedure you followed, but here's my attempt. So far, so good:

biggest issue I've heard about Dremels is heating up the frets too much if use sustained high speeds and heavy pressure, it's been said it can cause glues (if used) to soften/weaken causing seating problems. Is there a low speed option on those?

That's how my luthier does it, Robert.

Yes, lowest speed possible & never apply much pressure. I don't bear down on the frets.
It works well, but I'm not opposed to doing it by hand. It's not better, just faster

That little stainless steel fret guard is a game changer!
