    '53 tele Fralin rewind soundfiles

    Here's some soundfiles of the EXCELLENT rewinding job Lindy Fralin did on my '53 tele pickups-
    ('53 tele straight into a blackface deluxe, audio technica mic, 009 strings)

    Nice sounding clips. You've got a wonderful sound happening on those. That bridge pickup is particularly nice.
    I just dropped some Fralins into my Tele and I'm in the process of getting them dialed in. He does some great work.

    Really enjoyed the playing.

    Didn't care for the neck tone. I can't put my finger on it, but something rubbed me the wrong way with the neck pup. That's even more odd to me, considering that every Fralin Strat neck pup I've heard a clip of has blown me away. Sorry, 'cause it sounds like others do like it. Must just be me.

    LOVED the bridge tone, though. Go figure.

    Either way, it's an absolutely killer-looking guitar, and as long as you love the way it sounds, life is good.

    Not sure if it's my speakers, but the sound is rather bright on all p'up selections. It also sounds like very light gauge strings. The p'ups no doubt have a great clarity and a balanced full range of tone. Great playing by the way.
