New England has had a ton of rain the last week and more predicted for this week. While it comes with its own problems (flooding, trees down, power failures) we're a lot better off than a lot of the country. We were out of power for a bit last week - the generator took care of that! Yesterday we tried transplanting a tree that was "loose" in the ground. I don't hold out much hope for it. I got my riding mower ready to run - still needs an oil change and then I can start cutting grass again. My finger has healed enough to not interfere with that. I just need a day of dry weather to let all the wet spots dry out. Otherwise the wheels will grind up the soil. Zero turn mowers are fun to drive, but they don't tell you the damage you can do if you are not careful in your turns.
