    So...

Anybody else back to this lovely ghost town?

They’ve cleaned the place, it appears...

    Re: So...

Duz we haz a new certificate or do we don't?

If we get one, we're going to rebuild this page. We're going to bring in guitarists from Porto Cristo, Majorca and Maastricht and Warsaw. We're going to get players from Newfoundland, dammit.

We're going to make it better than ever. Bots are invited to learn about guitars. Rebuild this city on rock and roll. Let's get knee deep in the hoopla!!!!

Two steps forward, one step back.

On LPF, Kenny made a point to note that nothing here has changed.

I confess I've given up trying to figure out what they/them/those/their are doing with this site.

    Re: So...

    No, unfortunately we don't.

Like Dan, I believed we did and I was most happy to be back, thinking everyone of us would be back.

But I just read over at the LPF that no, it ain't true. We don't have a certificate or even a software update.

Though I myself believe this shouldn't drive anyone away from here, many of the old band of brothers don't feel like coming back unless this issue is sorted out.

Considering we had like 10 or 12 active users before all this mess started...

I'm logging off here and over at the LPF, for good. I love this forum and that's why I'm officially calling it quits. No point in this wishful thinking masturbation.

You all can reach me on facebook or by cell phone... If this place ever gets back on its feet, just let me know and I'll be VERY HAPPY to log back in.

    Re: So...

I've been poking my nose in every few days just to check what's going on.
I'm still active over on LPF - that's the one I started on, and still a fan of both brands (ducking rotten vegetables heading my way...)

No tomatoes. I like the LPF. It doesn't feel like home, but I like it.

I need to play my Les Paul for a bit so that I have more to contribute.

    Re: So...

The one thing I've learned about myself over the years I've been on both LPF and TFF is that I like Gibson's archtops and hollow bodies, but their solid bodies don't do it for me. Fender's solid bodies (for the most part) fit me better, but not their hollow bodies.

Nice - what type of Martin did you get?

I've always wanted one but never found one I could bond with...
