It's doable, but some preliminary considerations:
- The time and duration has to be mutually conducive. We live in different time zones (and hemispheres!).
- Can be done by Zoom. A free account limits the duration to 40 minutes and 100 attendees.
- To minimize "Zoom bombing" and disruptive behavior, attendees should be required to use their TFF handle.
- The host should maintain the "waiting room" so that non-identified people aren't just able to walk in.
- Passcode, or no passcode?
- Would the meeting info (time, meeting ID, passcode, etc.) be posted on TFF? Would they permit it, and where?
Probably some other things to be developed, but those jump out at me right away. I have a personal (free) Zoom account and a corporate Zoom account. Many of the restrictions of the free account are addressed by a paid account. I use Zoom to give online training.
Striving to be ordinary
Proud to be a TFF Dumbass!
That would definitely be cool.
We could use Messenger too. Everyone have that? It's free.

I'd be up for it!

I regularly use Zoom and Cisco Webex for meetings and hearings at work. Both are pretty easy to use. If you guys prefer something else, fine by me, too.
I'm EST, I think Sergio is an hour ahead of me. Any west-coasters here?
Post your time zone and we'll see what it looks like.

Zoom, Webex and MS Teams user here. Spend 50% of my day on any of these platforms. Ugh!
Zoom, despite the 40 minute limit for no-cost access, works really well.
Can we make the timing coincide with cocktail hour(s), perhaps?
I'm EST.
GMT-3 here
So We have GMT-3, -5, & -6
If I made it 7:30 my local time that's 9:30 for Sergio and 6:30 for Willie.
Sergio and Willie are the bookends so we need to work around what's acceptable for them.

I'm Eastern time, too. I think it's a great idea!
