    Frampton Mostly on His 335

I love Frampton and hate it that 3 songs of Comes Alive have been played to death--when there are so many great tunes on that album and in his catalog.

This is from his forthcoming album of instrumental covers. Going to be a good one..

That's a pretty tasteful rendition for sure.

As far as high-energy material goes I think Frampton hit his peak during his Humble Pie era.

Great music in that band, too. That could very well be his harder groovin' pinnacle.

Yeah, I think by the time he went solo, he was more into the acoustic singer songwriter stuff popular at the time. I like it. Those albums have some gems, and the ones he plays on Frampton Comes Alive are good songs that stay in my head in a good way.

I like! While Frampton is not a hero of mine, nor are any of his songs my favs, I will say this:
He was my fav concert! And this was in his later days (circa 2000s)
I have never seen a musician who was so appreciative of his audience and enjoyed playing for them so much.
