    Help ID-ing an Amp

    Hello!

I was hoping for a second opinion in identifying this amp, pictured behind session great Ray Pohlman, here:

I can't quite make out the name on the plate. I would assume it's a Pro-Amp, but the center alignment of the speaker seems unusual for a Pro. It's a little hard for me to tell if it's a 15" or 12" speaker. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Did Fender ever make a narrow-panel tweed 1x15 (or possibly 1X12?) Bassman combo? I haven't found evidence they did.

    Maybe a tweed Pro. 5E5 or 5E5-A.

The handle gives me pause to wonder.

My guess would be a Bassman, with a modified baffle for a 15 inch JBL speaker, since the speaker appears to be centrally located.

Pure conjecture. because I don't think the picture has enough resolution.

    Who hasn't modified an Amp?

    Regardless, I think it is a 15 inch speaker, not a 12.

    Definitely a Pro.

Or something re-cabinetted to that config.

    Got one.

    Love it.
