    Blast from the (TFF) Past

This is a phtot from a TFF Jam from around 12-15 years ago. TeleBob/Telenator hosted it and this is TFF member Franklin on the dobro. For you new guys, this place has been family for some of us for a lot of years.

Re: Blast from the (TFF) Past

This was actually taken back in 2006. We hosted a bunch of TFF folk from around the country at Casa de Gibsonjunkie. The night before the jam, TeleBob's band, The Rockaholics played at a (ahem) Gentleman's Club and we all went along to give them (im)moral support. I waved a $20 bill at one of the "entertainers "and said it was hers if she got the guitar player (TeleBob) to screw up. She earned that $20!

This place has some great memories.

I'm grateful to Kenny and to you all for keeping it running.

There's all the social media stuff around and the internet is different nowadays, but this old salloon is where many of us feel good.

I was kind of a late joiner, but still I've been around for a couple of years now and I love this kind of thread!

I can truly say I've made life-long friends here.

I'm still a relative newcomer, but folks here have made me feel welcome despite my horrendous taste in music, awful choices in guitars, and lack of any playing skills or knowledge of guitar tech. I check here daily.
