Hot Rod Deluxe, Deville cracking glass envelope on 1 6L6 tube.

The amp experiences crackling and noise just before it actually cracks (breaks) the glass envelope on 1 of the 6L6 power tubes!
Is this a common issue that results after a while, it is a 1996 amp. Is it a solder joint to foil issue because of heat? Is it a Bias issue going wild? Is it a design issue? Is it an inverter tube driver issue? Or something else? All information would be appreciated if you have seen this happen and what was your fix or correct fix for the problem. Thank you.

So the tube itself actually breaks on the amp? That is very not normal, and absolutely should be looked at. There's something very wrong there if it
is repeatedly breaking the actual tube, not just burning it out |(that wouldn't be normal either...)
I would bring it to a professional and have them look into it.

Has this happened once or repeatedly? Do the power tube sockets have bear trap style retainers? Do the power tubes have coin bases? If so, that can be a bad combination.
