Can a Blues Deluxe Reissue fit a second 12" speaker in its cabinet?

I'm gonna be picking up a Blues Deluxe reissue soon, but I wanted to get the second speaker since I'm replacing my other 2x12 rig. I know the expansion cabs exist, but are the dimensions for a BDRI large enough to accommodate a second 12" speaker inside the cab? With some moving of the other speaker of course.

Looking at my own Blues Deluxe, there's no way. The inside width of the cab is under 22", and the vertical room for the speaker is just at 12".
there isn't space to offset them enough to fit 2.
You'd be able to swap it for 2x 10", just make sure your ohmage is right.

    Maybe 2x10s?

What exactly makes you aim for a Blues Deluxe that you’ll have to mod, instead of a 2x12” amp? Maybe other amps will deliver what you need without mods

Pretty much, no. The Hot Rod/Blues Deluxe amps are VERY close in size to the Tweed 5F4-A Super amps which were a 2x10" combo.

Don't underestimate a 2x10 Fender...it's a great configuration. You can swap the baffle out between the 1x12 and 2x10 effortlessly.
