Fender Blues Deluxe 1995

    Hi,

I wonder if anyone could help me, I have today acquired a Fender Blues Deluxe, It is awesome and sounds better than anything i have ever played through, I started doing some research as it is slightly different to other models, the badge on the front says 'fender blues deluxe' and is also in a cream/white colour not tweed, i found fairly quickly there was a run in 1995 which was limited edition only 1000 made, and its ticking all the boxes with the front badge and the colour, however the inside QA sticker is FI, this suggests 1995 September made, but the only info i can find is these 'Limited editions only ran May, June, July.

Does anyone any further to help me identify this amp please??

    Thanks

    James

The pics aren't showing, just little boxes.

You have to load photos and paste the right code, etc.

Here is a simple explanation that will tell you how to post them.

You have to add the code at the end of each thread.

Maybe they didn't order enough labels earlier in the year and/or built more amps than expected and used the September labels early. Or they intended to make the amps earlier in the year and ran late.

    Yes, the pics are showing.

Thanks for hanging in there to get them up.

Our fellow member Sergio has just bought a Blues Deluxe and loves it.

    Good luck with yours.

yes I’m very pleased with it, it sounds awesome, would just like to clear up if it’s one of the special runs or left over colour and front logo they have used, they all seem to be one or the other not a bit of each like mine 😳

I have the exact same amp but with the letters FH (according to the article this one was made in July) on the QC sticker. I bought it new in December of 1995. There were a couple of other Blues Deluxes on the floor that just had the Fender badge on them, but this one sounded so much better. I quickly paid them the $550 they were asking and took it home. I gigged with it for 20 years before moving up to a HR Deville 2X12. It still works great and sounds like no other BD I've ever heard.

I always say this: the Hot Rod series is nowhere near as bad as people often say.
