    Roadworn 60’s strat upgrades

Hoping someone can fast track me.
I’m wondering if it’s worthwhile to change the tremelo block to a Callaham? I know people complain about the saddles being too bright, but is this an issue with the block too?
I was also considering changing pickups. I know this is a personal thing, but I don’t play strats much, so I’m unfamiliar. One thing I don’t like is noise, and harsh high end. Any suggestions ?

Check the block with a magnet. If it's steel, I'd leave it in place. If it's not, I'd consider changing it.

If you are not too familiar with strats as you say, I recommend you take your time and explore the tone knobs, switch positions and amp settings before you change anything... You might find that strats are indeed quite bright, it’s the nature of the animal, so if you want a thicker, duller tone, Many times you just have to dial in the ideal settings...

If you really don’t want any hum, noiseless pups are the way to go but they will sound slightly different, some people love them, some others hate them.
