Fixing a free Line 6 Spider III 15 Amp

I know that these Line 6 amps are not really that good, but I have a lot of free time and I would like to see if I could fix it up.

Whenever I turn it on, the amp acts as if all the knobs are turned all the way up. However, as soon as I jiggle the knobs a tiny bit, the amp functions as it should as long as it is on. Whenever I turn it off then back on again, I have to jiggle the knobs a tiny bit to make it function correctly.

I have opened the amp up used contact cleaner and compressed air on the pots and jack inputs/outputs to see if that would fix it. It would not.

Is this a common problem with these amps? Is there some sort of reset for this amp?

If you've tried the obvious remedies without result I'd start looking for a fractured or cold solder joint (maybe even more than one). Reheat and reflow as necessary. Also, gently remove and re-seat any ribbon connectors then check all ground connections.
