    R.I.P. John Prine

Sad news friends John has passed over to the other side.

One of my heroes, I took my kids to see him last year....a memorable night.

My heart has a big hole at the moment.

Take care, stay well and lather up.
I have decided to be happy because it's good for my health.

Heard that on the radio about an hour ago.

    Tragic.

I had heard he was ill. This is the first I've heard of his passing. Sad.

It seems the music world has been hit very hard by this pandemic.

I'm very sad to hear the news of his passing. A great song writer and performer. The last time I saw him was with Bonnie Raitt. I will miss him greatly and my prayers to him and his family and friends.

    Cheers,
    Bill

Lightning 100 out of Nashville played 2 hours worth of his music today. They are a great radio station.

I had the pleasure of playing in a club that John Prine frequented in the early 80s. His brother Billy was a regular there too. I was too shy to meet John, but he played some nice shows there. He never showed when we were playing, but Billy was there, knocking up the waitress.

RIP Mr. Prine. I've enjoyed your music.

I take solace in one of his songs: Please Don't Bury Me. Makes me smile.
