    "He's A Fake"

"No one can play that fast." -- Jeff Beck's mother, upon hearing Les Paul and Mary Ford doing "How High the Moon."

We're character limited on post size, so I'll just say that many companies are offering expanded services because of COVID-19. I don't watch a lot of terrestrial TV, but I thought I'd check on what's being offered, and just spent a very enjoyable 90 minutes watching Jeff Beck: Still on the Run, a 2018 Showtime documentary.

I'm probably the last person on earth to have never seen it before, but given that it's Saturday morning and we're all supposed to stay shut in, it was a pleasant way to start the weekend!

count me in as another who hasn't seen it yet, but I will.

Saw Jeff in '09 with Tal W on bass. Utterly fantastic show.

I've seen Jeff Beck a couple of times. Every time I do, I feel like Eric Clapton, who's included in the movie (as are Jimmy Page, David Gilmour, Slash, Ron Woods, Rod Stewart, and others) who at one point says that after seeing Beck play, he "felt like retiring!"

Just finished watching it, thanks for the heads up.
Count me among the others who never saw it before, and count me among the ones who are appreciative of people like you who have made my day a little brighter during these times.

'63 split window Corvette , hot rods, and great guitar playing. Who could ask for more?

    Slash aside....

    Cheers,
