    Split seconds

I really love to see certain pictures of great musicians, pictures that catch a look or a feeling that can't exactly be described... You look at them and you think "man, this was a great moment".

I'll post some here, someone might like them as well.

Grateful Dead (btw my favorite Dead phase, late 60s/early 70s, Jerry playing a strat).

Lots of life in that picture.

I love pics like this! Sports pics too, even though I'm not a huge sports fan.

Pete Townshend had a lot of great split seconds (though many were not musical).

this one was supposed to be about the burst in the foreground but I couldn't help but to laugh at the keyboardist's face in the background

To me, most any early Zep picture is epic and inspiring.

I assume this is supposed to be about famous people, but this was one of those moments that don’t get forgotten. We were playing (actually just a bunch of us jammin’) in a friend’s backyard while we were drinkin’ beers and chowin’ down on some good eats when my buddy jumps on our home made stage in a tutu and we played Ear Ache My Eye. I was laughing so hard I could hardly hang onto my bass.

    Re: Split seconds

Is that Townsend tossing the guitar in the air? It made me think of my buddy(actually was the guitar player you can’t see in the tutu photo) when he was playing one of the Summerfest stages at Milwaukee and he attempted that stunt. He tossed a Kramer up into the air at the end of their show and the lighting guy was supposed to kill the lights. Well, the lighting stayed on and my buddy, blinded by the lights, lost track of his guitar allowing it to crash on the stage, snapping the neck off of it. The crowd went wild thinking it was all part of the show.
