    Miami Steve in Omaha!

Miami Steve Van Zandt was in Omaha while we were there. He stayed in our hotel and a buddy of mine was in the bar when he came through. Since he was from Jersey, they took a selfie together and chatted for a bit. He did a free concert Friday night - I couldn't go, but I bet it was great!

Always fun to meet notable musicians!
I lived around Omaha back in the late 60's, and it was a big music town. I remember one club that had 2 floors, the lower floor was non alcoholic, and upstairs had beer only. Live music in both!

Why do I always think of him as "Little" Steve Van Zandt? Was he known that way before, or am I thinking of another universe?

I almost said "Little Steve". He goes by that too.

    his new album
The only time you really live fully is from thirty to sixty. The young are slaves to dreams; the old servants of regrets. Only the middle-aged have all their five senses in the keeping of their wits.
