Hey FJ, according to your Facebook page my friend bluesman Bryan Lee is one of your friends. Here’s Bryan, Westside Andy and me (on bass) at the Big City Rhythm and Blues magazine awards evening in 2015 when Bryan received a “Lifetime Achievement Award” and asked me to sit in for a tune.![]()
Here’s a better shot of Bryan that night.

I have met Bryan a couple of times. Did sound and sat in with him. A true gentleman. I hope his health is better since he moved to FLORIDA.![]()

A very good friend is presently playing bass with Bryan’s Florida band; I have a photo of the three of us together on stage from last year that I will have to find a way to post since it is not on any websites. Bryan is back playing the New Orleans Blues and Jazz Fest this year and a few other gigs in his old stompin’ grounds.
I just listened to some cassette recordings Bryan and I did back in the early ‘70s and was amazed at how much stuff we did that was more Rock oriented in those days.

The only time you really live fully is from thirty to sixty. The young are slaves to dreams; the old servants of regrets. Only the middle-aged have all their five senses in the keeping of their wits.
