That's pretty. But the headstock bothers me. Maybe it's the dark contrast to the light neck.

It's a beauty, but the maple fb bothers me too. I think it'd look so much better with rosewood or ebony. Then the matching headstock would look just right.

Y'all sure are a picky bunch!

Had me a late 70's early 80's (?) MIJ cherry bookmatched maple top Strat. With a rosewood fingerboard. Quite a looker and was far again better than any Am. Std. I ever played. Gave it to my old bandmate when I left Ft. Worth. Mint plastic and gold hardware. Spotless finish and not a ding or scratch. Ed was speechless when I drove up. Rang the doorbell, and handed him the tweed case. He deserved it.
I forgot what I was going to say...

I’m not so picky that I would turn one down if somebody gave it to me.

    Now, that's something I'd try.

I like any variations as long as they're "pure" or "organic".

Photoflame, Game of Thrones (believe me, they issued GoT guitars at $35,000), and other stuff, I'll pass.

But any experiments with rosewood and maple are entirely welcome in my hands and ears.
