"...pray do not imagine that those who make the noise are the only inhabitants of the field;
that, of course, they are many in number; or that, after all, they are other than the little,
shriveled, meagre, hopping, though loud and troublesome, insects of the hour."
-Edmund Burke

The only time you really live fully is from thirty to sixty. The young are slaves to dreams; the old servants of regrets. Only the middle-aged have all their five senses in the keeping of their wits.

Thanks, TJ!
Susan is a great player herself. We got a chance to see her (maybe 10+ years ago), at our little "Blues Festival". She was the guitar player with the small group she brought, (pre Derek?)
I noticed (with the capability I have on a small screen and somewhat fuzzy resolution) that Susan is playing the same chords as found in the Allman Bros. "Melissa," a song I have incorporated into my "repertoire."
Swampers rule, even when they play in Jacksonville. ( Where the fishin' is fine!)

"No harmonic knowledge, no sense of time, a ghastly tone, unskilled vibrato, and so on. Chuck is one of the worst guitar players I know" -Gravity Jim
When my niece was going to Berkeley School of Music Susan Tedeschi was her room mate and I think she’s a pretty loyal friend doing things like when Susan flew my niece to New York to sing background for her on the Conan O’Brien Show. I haven’t gotten to meet Derek yet, but I did get to spend some time on Susan’s tour bus a few years ago.
Thanks for sharing.
I have decided to be happy because it's good for my health.
They are a great band, the latest release SIGNS is BORING!
