    Telecaster Wiring Diagrams

I'm finishing up a Telecaster project I started about 12 or13 yrs ago: Shell Pink alder body, maple neck w/rosewood "cap", mint green 'guard.
I bought a set of '64 Telecaster pickups because I borrowed my buddy's '64 RI last summer & loved the sound. The p'ups come with two wiring schematics: modern wiring, & vintage wiring.
Does anyone here have any experience with either of these? I'm wondering what any appreciable differences are.
    Thx

Do the modern wiring, it’s what most people are used to. I forget which scheme the vintage 64 uses, but Fender used to do goofy stuff. IIRC, it’s bridge, bridge with neck blend, and then neck through a cap to ground (dark!). You might like it, but I think the modern b, b/n, n with master volume and tone is more useful.

All the Tele iterations are pretty easy to wire. I would highly suggest looking at tge Bill Lawrence 5 way switching. It’s really versatile, you get the standard 3 way combos plus 2 faux Strat sounds. I really like it
