    Jensen C12N vs C12K

I had put this in the wrong part of the forum, earlier.

I recently-acquired a BF Band Master, which is great, but the speakers in the cab are sick and need replacement.

    I don't wanna spend an arm, a leg & a testicle.

As far as Jensens are concerned, I gather the usual recommendation for the 40w Bandmaster are the Jensen C12N, which are rated for 50w.

A local store has a pair of "slightly used" Jensen C12Ks for a good price. I understand that these are used in the Twin Reverb re-issue, and they're 100 watt versions of the 50w C12Ns.

What are advantages and disadvantages of the C12N and the C12K in this situation?

I play instro-rock/surf, and generally have a pretty clean sound, but wanted the BM to give just a hint of break-up when the amp is pushed.

My other amp is a Twin Reverb re-issue, which comes with C12Ks. I wouldn't want the BM and the Twin to sound too much alike.

Any other comments or suggestions would be appreciated.

weber ceramica are bad ass, and really cheap. i don't like the new jensens. whatever you've read bad about ceramics is not true. i think it was 80 bucks apiece for the webers.
