Eclipse tonight, sorry no pics
I know from experience that I don't have anything in the right vein of equipment to take a good lunar eclipse shot, cell phones still don't quite do it. Plus I'm not baring my hands in -16 windchill.
My sister in NYC texted me after the game to see how we fared after all the hyperventilating and flop sweat was done. Then she reminded us of the eclipse. On a hunch, I put a coat on and went outside to see to my amazement that the sky was clear and the moon quite visible with a huge bite out of it. About 20 minutes ago I came in after watching it for 10-12 minutes. It was beautiful and what the heck, I had the good cold weather gear and it wasn't that bad even after the wind started picking up.

I would've liked to have gone out and looked, but it was pretty cloudy here and I was trying to sleep after a tense (fun!) game. The wind was howling!
