    Thanksgiving Turkeys

OK, so they aren't really turkeys. I was looking over the top of my computer screen and saw that I'd been recently playing my Tortoise(shells).

    Happy Thanksgiving to all!

I think I can follow the theme of the OP: Turkeys, tortoise shell pickguards, guitars. Happy Thanksgiving.

No, really. Hope you had a good Thanksgiving, Old Strummer.. And for our friends outside of the US--you poor folks; no green bean casserole for you!

    Re: Thanksgiving Turkeys

My family was here way before those Europeans invaded. We ate birds only when there was nothing else to find. We laugh at the big deal y'all make about turkey and stuff. My older cousin said the real turkeys are the ones that make it a holiday about starving and being dependant upon those poor eastern tribes to feed em. Gobble gobble!
I forgot what I was going to say...
