I liked the disclaimer about the guitar working last time he played it.

Holy mother of Murgatroyd. "may need some slight fixing." The guy is a master of understatement.

condition: fairThis guitar means a lot to me. It was heavily used, as you can see. It has many scrapes and cracks on the surface from my wild days. It may work or it may need some slight fixing (fun!).

The fret wood is acceptable (may need a bit of light refurbishing). The metal frets are all intact (possible minor "dinting"). The screws--seven have been unscrewed. The pickguard is cracked around the volume controller and lifts up a little.

Update: This guitar worked last time I played it.”

    Wonderful.

I think it'd be fun- for half the price.

Because I, like you, worked hard to buy my gear, I just couldn’t abuse an instrument like that guy did. I never liked seeing guitarists destroy gear. Love Pete Townshend, but it kills me when he destroyed and still destroys gear.

Guitars like this are great for learning how to level and crown frets, solder pots, refurbish and intonate bridges/ saddles, learn refinishing techniques, etc but not for this price. I'd buy it for $20 at a garage sale ( if it had no major structural damage), spend maybe $75-$100 in parts and end up with a player that I was proud to have rescued.
