Next I'm going to try Scotch and Coffee with bacon!

Would that make me a wide awake drunk having breakfast?

Now you made me crave for some bacon. With eggs and toast. And Tabasco. Lots of Tabasco.

I pour the green Jalapeńo sauce on them, tastes great! Goes well on burgers also.

Where I live is known for green chile, southern New Mexico, and Fronteras Chihuahua, Mexico.
I met guys in the service that were Tobasco fans, I never cared much for it. (I don't think there was any "green" then).

So, while we've had thread drift, I'd like to revisit the 1,000 character limit. I don't think it's always been present. Recently, I tried to write simple (!) instructions on adding photos to the site, to help Old Ranger do so. I quickly ran into the limit (I think it said I had 1,206 characters. I couldn't reduce it well enough, so I scrapped the whole post.

I'd done much the same thing in
an earlier post to jeffp (Old Ranger, maybe it will help you) with fewer characters (I don't know if BBcode is counted as text).

So, I can be wordy at times, but it seems only recently I've run up against this limitation. Maybe Kenny can lend some insight?

This "limit" is something new to me. I remember posting some stuff that would rival War and Peace in length and it went through. So I blame the past administration! Ha!As to my learning to post pics? Kenny tried to explain it but I just sat there with a blank look on my face. I didn't train on computers. I trained in weapons, jungle combat, police work, luthier work, and amp repair. I work with my hands. Last computer that pissed me off was shot 4 times with a 45! And I broke a phone a year ago when I threw it against the wall. I have no patience with a computer.I have OCD: I'm OLD, CRANKY, & DANGEROUS!

I can be pretty wordy too, maybe that's because we Portuguese speakers talk a lot. We kinda love adjectives. And more adjectives.

Wade, I once threw a phone against the wall too, it pissed me off so much I just couldn't stand it anymore. Now, shooting a computer is definitely something I gotta try.

Maybe I'll do it at a club shooting range if our new Government staff keeps their promise to restore our legitimate right to own and bear arms. I can't wait to buy a good pistol or revolver and practice at the club my father founded here. Speaking of which, I miss the Guns and Ammo magazine forums.

Btw have you still got that single action Ruger?

Once I went over to pick up my brother in law to go shoot. I stepped around the back of his reloading shed to take a leak, and noticed 7 holes in the wall. Seems he was reloading, and the heater kept going out, said he got so mad, he disconnected the tank, loaded his 45, and emptied the mag into the heater!

    Sounds like my kinda guy!

Sérgio, I traded that thing off long ago. Wasn't natural. Went back to my Colts!

I have/had issues with Android devices. The two I bought have given me nothing but trouble. I threw one agaist a wall expecting it to shatter, but it didn't. So, the next time I find myself at a range that will allow me, I'm going to do a "steel shoot" against the bugger. .45ACP, .38SPL or 9mm. Maybe a combination of all three!

These calibers sound like childhood music to my ears (eyes)... My old man was an avid shooter, reloader and collector. 45ACP was his all time favorite. I grew up smelling Winchester Gun Oil, Ballistöl, Hoppes #9 and Alox.

Here's Dr. Sérgio Senior, back in the late 80's or early 90's, maneuvring his favorite toy at American Handgunner Magazine's Worldwide Postal tournament.
