    None more black

Fender Japan is releasing a new series of black stratocaster, telecaster and p bass. gold hardware and black white black pickguards. they look very classy. 7.25 radius is something I could live with ... if the sound is there and the weight is light.

haven't found any for sale yet. The Tele is 899, strat 799 (huh? 100 dollar difference for an alder body over basswood?) and the p bass is also 799.

Maybe it's the country where I live but I can't see the series. What's it called?

And is Fender making basswood strats in Japan? I never thought of that. Basswood has always been a cheapo guitar wood here.

You'd have to wear a tuxedo to play that thing - really classy looking.

    Me likey!

I once had a Gibson LP Studio decked out like that. But also with the back of the neck painted black as well. So, one more black than that Tele! ;-)
