    Last Sunday of September

I'm up before the sun these days not by my preference but it is what it is. It's supposed to be a nice day here today.

I, on the other hand, have been sleeping later these days. But now I'm up and headed to church. We're supposed to have a second straight day of yellow light in the sky before going dark and rainy again tomorrow.

Last day of the regular baseball season. My team is out of the postseason, so I'll likely watch the season finale.

Nice weather predicted for Connecticut today. I'll do the lawn today. Last week my neighbor's kid called us in a panic - his dad passed out in the garage and he didn't know what to do. We ran over and called the police. He stayed a couple days in the hospital and they said he had a small heart attack, so I'll do his lawn, too. He's young - 40 (he and his wife both went to high school with my daughter), but he is very overweight. they are really nice kids (!) Next weekemd we're taking a couple days off and visiting friends in Maine.

I'm going to the guitar show in Marlboro, MA. I went last year and it was just okay, but there's something about a guitar show that draws me. Being around like minded people, the chance to maybe buy something cool...

    Re: Last Sunday of September

I bought my Ampeg V4B bass amp and Ampeg Heritage cab a month or two ago, and it's been sitting in our practice room. I only get to play through it once or twice a week at practice. So after our gig Friday night, I brought it home and will be jamming to spotify with it today. I think I'm going to leave it at home except for gigs and just use my Fender Rumble 350 in our practice room.

It's a beautiful day here in West Tennessee. I'll be spending a lot of time on the back deck today.

My wife and I did a run with our Corvette club to Lac du Flambeau, WI with a stay at the Lake of the Torches casino hotel. I guess it was a fun time but we were both suffering from the beginning stages of a cold so it was a push to enjoy the moment and our friends. Tonight we’re home by the fireplace and watching a movie while contemplating an early bedtime. Life goes on, eh?
