Volume Pedal not shuts down completely in HotRod de Luxe Send/Return

Hi there,I`ve been using a low impedance 25K Volume Pedal (Vertex, the modified BOSS FV-500 L kind) which normally works quite fine, but recently i came across the problem that in lead mode, the volume does not really switch to zero with the pedal shut down. Knowing this problem from the Ernie Balls - ok, not really comparable - I had the pedal checked and it technically works fine und does shut down completely with other equipment. I was told by Vertex and the technician that it might be an impedance problem woth the Hot Rods effects loop and might be solved with a modification of that. Anyone experience / hints concerning that issue? In any case, thanks a lot from Germany!

In my experience, there is always a little slack in the pot sweep. When installing a pot, I adjust the travel to full on, you could just as easily adjust the travel from full off.

Take it out of the loop and run it directly in the input.
I forgot what I was going to say...
