    GAS attacks

I need (ok, I know I don't "need" another guitar, but we are guitar players so we always want something more ) a Rickenbacker 620.

    Desperately.

Now, Rics are virtually impossible to buy new here, so I'll have to buy it in the US. Does anyone know the average price for used 620s?

Furthermore, has anyone here actually played one? Did you like it?

Didn't Kenny lust after a Ric 620 a little while back? I can't look over the threads, but I recall it...

Reverb has a few listed ranging from US $1,350 to $1,795.

Rickenbacker makes great instruments. I recently saw a 360 and was amazed at its quality. Of course I have owned my 4001 bass since 78, and it’s sturdy and well made, but I’d never actually held a Ric guitar until that one. My next guitar will be a Ric, so I understand why you’re attracted to one.

I’ve always lusted for a Ric 12 string... in black. Funny, as my neighbor is listening to The Beatles right now! 😂

    I'm about to close a deal. It's a mapleglo 620.

Btw I can't find much info about these, does any of you know when that model was launched?

Totally jealous. Hope you bond with it. I love Rics.

Sergio, a friend collects guitars and is currently owning around 80 guitars. Each Thursday evening (the night of the jam session I host) he brings a couple of his guitars to our jam and allows fellow players to enjoy them. For two weeks he brought this Reverend Jenn Wasner guitar that all who played it said it was a beautiful neck and fun to play.
