(Note: I use the term 'guys' in a strictly generic way. If there are ladies reading this, I include you in the sweep of the term).
In the Stratocasters forum, I posted a thread about a topic that rings near and dear to my heart: 12-string guitars. In this case, an electric 12-string Stratocaster.
Once upon a time, Fender offered a Stratocaster XII. I guess it didn't sell well (12-strings aren't everyone's bailiwick). After a time, and several times over the years, Fender would re-issue this guitar as a Made In Japan (MIJ) model. I see these pop up on eBay every once in a while. These are typical early 2000s instruments, used. And run about $1,000 - $1,300.
But all of a sudden, I found NIB FSR Stratocaster XII. For the ridiculous low price of $899! But only in Olympic White or Sunburst. I'm not fan of 'bursts, and I already have an OW Strat.
I'm this close to pulling the trigger on one of these. But which one?
