    Miles Davis

I'm doing some work with another band and it's a lot more jazz and prog than the power-pop stuff I've been playing. I figured to get back into that Baxter-Holdsworth space I needed to get re-aquainted with some stuff that grooves, so last week I immersed myself into listening to Miles.

    SON.OF.A.BITCH!

Man, I had forgotten how cool music can be. Miles is The King of knowing where to place it and how to phrase it. Miles is some wicked hot stuff. I'm so happy to reconnect with my roots. It's freeing.

I really like Miles especially before he got far into dissonance.

He he, I got inspired so I just cut this track. I wanted to see if could put a Tele in the mix

This is direct out and no post processing, I think the Tele worked pretty good. I hope Miles would approve.
