    Opinions On Acoustic Guitar Amps?

Before I begin a dissertation on acoustic guitar amps, which is best, yada, yada, yada, if anyone knows how to set a combo modeling amp (Fender Mustang II v2, Fender Champion 40) so that it can be used with an acoustic guitar, then this conversation is over before it starts.

If not, I read this article on acoustic guitar amps and got to thinking (which is always dangerous to my wallet!). Thinking that I might someday join my church's worship band, there may be an opportunity to play acoustic. My Taylor has a jack and I've not been able to run it through my combo amps as an acoustic.

The church has a Fishman (model unknown) that one guitarist uses, so I would think I'd have to provide my own. Holy Mother, but those listed are expensive!!! At least for me, when I only have one guitar that could be used with it. I'd much rather run my Taylor through a modeling amp, but failing to that, who has an opinion on acoustic guitar amps?

Maybe using an Equaliser pedal might help ?

Is there a house PA? Just plug into that.

Yes, I think so. Thanks, I hadn't thought of that!

Yep, that's how we do it. I never really understood why anyone would buy an "acoustic amp" when you already have mains and monitors anyway.

If the PA system doesn’t work for you the Peavy Vip 1 has an acoustic setting if you want to keep the price down
