NGD: Gibson Les Paul Traditional Pro II ‘50s

I picked up a used Les Paul Traditional Pro II ‘50s yesterday. I got a good deal due to it having several modifications. They’re all pretty good though- Duncan Alnico II Pros, CTS pots, ‘50s style wiring, copper foil shielding, bone nut and Tonepros bridge and tailpiece. There’s a little touch up on the headstock veneer where it looks like they were sloppy with the nut work.
I put my gauge strings on it and set it up yesterday. It sounds pretty good and plays great. I like the feel of the un-filled satin neck. The neck is very small for what they call a ‘50s neck but I like the feel. The jury’s still out on the pickups. They sound really nice clean, but seem a little fizzy with the guitar cranked into a driven amp.
Im away on vacation for a few days so setting them up better will have to wait.
I’ll share a pic when I get home and get it hosted.

I was thinking about that as I was floating around in neck deep water.

I can see 1 seam on the back. These are weight relieved with a bunch of holes. It weighs 8 pounds, 3 ounces- just right.

In case you were wondering, they've apparently made 42 variants of the Traditional.

Yes. A battery for the 10db boost. That has been removed from my guitar.
