    '78 Jazz

Currently my #1 "go-to" for gigs. Great neck and a sound you can't get with anything else. All original except the bridge. I have the metal covers. I just like it better with them off. She's a fat bottom girl, coming in at a little over 10 pounds.

I do have a question: I haven't seen another maple board '78 with all white plastic. Is that rare?

I don't know if its rare - surely uncommon at the least. I like this - I like it a LOT.

VERY cool sub-sonic generator you have there my friend!

I just noticed your baby has THREE pots and only two pickups. One volume and two tones, or two volumes and one tone? Is that common for basses (I don't know bass)?

    Typical Jazz Bass Setup -

I have seen a few blocked and bound in white pearl - they look great - but not too many with the white strat knobs or pup covers.

I have gotten to play a few older Jazz basses, but don't own any actual "mature specimens".

There is nothing like the feel of a good instrument that has been loved!

I would like to get my hands on one like this, even though I have a preference for rosewood boards!
