Fender Strat Deluxe USA 2009 yes or no?

So, I currently have a 2004 MIM Strat, sunburst, maple fret, all very good condition. Has had Kinman Trad ii noiseless pickups fitted with the K9 harness which gives extra sound choices. I do like it, feels nice, has great balance, smooth and fast easy to use neck. Great sounds possible from the pickups. BUT..... up for sale is a USA Deluxe from 2009. Looks identical but has the standard N1 noiseless pickups with the S-1 switching. I cant try it so side by side, would I notice the difference? Worth the extra £400/$500?

If you're happy with your current Strat, I wouldn't bother.

A buddy of mine put some Hot Rails into his MIM, and it's one of the best sounding Strats I've ever heard.

I'm with the others: if you like your guitar, stick with it. The deluxe is a great guitar, but it's not going to make a magical difference. I tried Vintage Noiseless pickups once, but I found them to sound sterile and synthetic. Maybe the ones in the Deluxe sound better. Still, I'd stick with the MIM you have.

Yep, the best way to upgrade your sound is with a new amp, not a new guitar.

If you like your strat, don't trade it. Buy the other one. Or don't.
