High and dry Sunday here, good luck TX TFers

reading the Harvey thread is more informative than most news broadcasts, really brings it home to me. Good luck, guys. Keep us posted as long as you can.

Here, it's been almost unseasonably cool but probably not that far from normal. I've had actually had to put the heat on last night. I woke up yesterday morning so cold that I said "screw this" and went back to bed while I waited for it to get warmer. Finally gave up and put the heat on for an hour to take the chill off. Going to bed I put the heat on again and I was very glad I did. Not looking forward to heating season just yet because it also means dry season and humidifier action. Too soon, no mas.

Sold a MJT strat body I had won unexpectedly some weeks ago. The project ahead of it still isn't done yet and the intervening garage project and workbench-to-be had a higher priority. I had bought that body before my garage epiphany. Plenty more where those came from .. i hope.

having coffee, should go for a walk and get some more time towards my month's goal, not sure if I'll get a walk in tomorrow due to appointments. Trying to decide between walking and playing while my sister takes my mom to church.

All my Texas buddies - hope you are OK! Not much going on here - was supposed to go to a picnic but the Mrs. is sick so we're not. I'll work on the man-cave some more.

Glad everyone is well. Off work for a few consecutive days starting tomorrow so I'll try to get the chain-saw going and start cleaning up outside. I've got a replacement King V coming next week so hopefully it'll be a winner this time and I can do a proper NGD... fingers crossed! Thanks for the well-wishes. You guys are tops!

I'm on vacation! I just spent two days at a drift event in New Hampshire and tomorrow we're going to the Cape for three days.

Well, not Harvey quantity flooding, but this was my Sunday...great times out on the trails north of Toronto and into Quebec. Four days of spectacular riding weather, roads, trails and scenery...

Wondering how often you run into Grizzly's up there... assuming they're around. I recently watched a video of a guy that survived a double attack. It was absolutely amazing to hear his account. Anyway... beautiful area. That's therapy right there!

We see black bears around here all the time - eastern Canada that is. Grizzlies' range is more western/northwestern Canada - Alberta, BC, Yukon and into Alaska.

Ah... That's good that they're not around you there in eastern Canada... not that a black-bear sow with cubs can't pose a problem, but those grizzlies... ugh.
