Oh, Help Me. GAS is striking again!!!

I received a notification today that a Stratocaster I was eyeing has been reduced in price temporarily. I did some math and found that it is now pretty much the same price as another that I've played and am watching. Oh, my. Should I jump on the one that is on sale, or go with the one I've played? (I know no one is going to talk me out of buying either, so I won't play that card).

Below are pics and brief descriptions:

Fender Custom Shop 2006 Robin Trower Stratocaster, signed by Robin Trower himself.

Fender 2005 NAMM Custom Shop 1956 Strat Relic:

Incidentally, I sent an offer to the seller of the Trower guitar. We're negotiating...

Well, Thirteen IS an Unlucky Number...

I did it again. There was a sale on at Reverb, and I did the math, then contacted the seller. We agreed on a price and I pulled the trigger.

The autographed Custom Shop 2006 Robin Trower Stratocaster is mine! I haven't received the shipping details yet, but it's now marked as "
    sold."

Well I was going to vote for the Trower, so, Good Choice!

(Well it might also be a good time to take some Rolaids and get that strat GAS under control...LOL...but really.)

    How is your amp selection?
    Maybe pedals?

From early indications, I should be getting a healthy tax refund. If that comes to pass, I see

    1. A Fender Deluxe Reverb '68 Re-issue
    2. The 2005 NAMM Custom Shop '56 Strat Relic

    in my near future.

    THEN I'll take Rolaids.

good choice on the Trower. Now tune down a whole step to D and get thee a phasor, a wah, fuzzes and take the Caravan to Midnight and soar high For Earth Below.

I've been messing around with that a little. It's actually kind of cool.

It actually works pretty well on my Jackson. Being a 24 fret guitar, I can tune down a whole step and still hit the same notes I can on a 22 fret guitar.

Been there, done that! In fact, I bought a Fulltone Robin Trower Overdrive, and while that is an awesome pedal, I added a Fulltone Mini DejáVibe, which is what Trower uses today, if you believe the Fulltone web site.

Now, if I could only play like Trower...
