So, I have always been all about my set of Dunlop/Boss/Danelectro pedals. I relied pretty much on having a delay, a chorus, a wah, a flanger and a booster on stage, my pedalboard looked like a Swisschamp Victorinox knife.

Well, this weekend I played a jam with my bandmates and all I had for building up my tone was what has just become my ENTIRE pedalboard for the upcoming classic rock/blues gigs:

And you know what? I just found out that my valve amp and my guitar DO sound much better alone than plugged through all that bunch of effect devices... So even though I love how some of my pedals sound, I guess I'll be playing my guitar and my amp "raw" for quite a while, boys...

Talk about a cool vintage tone, just a strat through a valve amp and that's it. Less is definitely more.
