So, this just came in today:



It's a Morley PVO+ Volume Pedal. This is a cool pedal. It has two modes.

The footswitch on the right switches the pedal between two modes: Normal Mode and Minimum Volume Mode.

With the pedal in Normal Mode (LED Off), it is just like any volume pedal...all the way back and the volume is off; all the way forward and the pedal is at maximum. Easy enough.

However, with the pedal in Minimum Volume Mode (LED On) when the pedal is all the way back, the volume will go no lower than the Minimum Volume set by the knob on the left. With the pedal all the way forward, the pedal is at max volume, like Normal Mode.

The beauty of this is that Normal Mode is great for swells and essentially muting the guitar.

However, Minimum Volume Mode allows you to essentially cycle between rhythm and lead volumes, for example.

Being able to switch between the two modes ensures I can always return instantly to a reference level.
