Fender Classic Player Jaguar Special - Guitar Review

Hi guys! I've got a new review on a Fender Jaguar. I think it's a very versatile one, suited for genres from blues to alternative/hard rock. Any Jaguar players? What do you think about this model? Thanks!

I've had a MIJ semi-hollow Jag for a couple years now and still haven't really bonded. It's quirks are kind of hard for me to wrap my head around.

Yes those semi or full hollow bodies are really tricky. It takes some time to figure out how you can set up your tone. I found this Jag easy to play, and I was able to do almost everything on it, as genres.

I'm kinda on board with DanD. I purchased a Cherry Red Classic Jaguar from Reverb.com about 2 years ago now - and althought as a Jazzmaster freak I love the looks - I have not really warmed up to it. I mostly use it during rehearsals. It feels very good and does all that it's supposed to do. But frankly, that switching system and my brain don't seem to get along. It's a beauty though! That's it in my avatar.

My Classic Player Jag also came from Reverb.com. It spends most of its time in the case. That switching system is just not "natural" enough and the pups have no "balls"...the tone being thin and flattish....BUT - it is a beauty to behold.
