i don't know much about Jay Tursers, but I've read that they are a very good bang for the buck.

B. ALL solid Rosewood body---first I have seen,played,owned, ever (and I run through some gits) and---its friggin dark and creamy --like Guinness in guitar form........yeah its gonna hang around abit ;)

From what I can tell............this is ONE big HUNK of Rosewood. got a new pup. Guitar Headz "SUPER TWANG" for the bridge.....the neck pup is awesome and deep and rich......but the bridge pup was a bit lacking.....will try and swap out this weekend.

That's a bitchin' guitar there amigo, I think anyone would be proud to own it. I've found the same thing with most guitars, that swapping the bridge pup normally "cures" whatever's ailing it. Can't remember how many import, knockoff and other "cheap" guitars I've gone thru, setup, and swapped pups on only to come out with a killer and serviceable player.

That's a sweet one at a downright silly price! I like the sound that comes out of the Tursers and I think they are good value for the price, but the hardware, especially the tuners, seem a little flimsy to me. I find them hard to tune. Is this your experience? I suppose it wouldn't take much to throw a good set of machine heads on it.
