CryBaby mods

I tried the usual mods. (all over the web), on a pedal a few years ago, and really liked the results. I loaned it to a real guitar player for an evaluation, but I haven't heard back yet!
Recently I tried to buy a dead pedal to use as a volume pedal for my MusicMan amp, and ended up with 2! Turns out 1 needed a switch, and the other only needed a battery. I did the same mods to 1, and realized that the "jimi" wah had a few different components, so I installed a red "fasal" inductor, and a 470K pot, and the extra cap that series with the inductor. Of course, everything needs an LED, and why not make it "true bypass".
The result is a more "midrange" voice, but in front of an overdriven amp, it blooms! I hope to get a proper evaluation from my friend, (if he will ever get around to checking the other!)
